To provide a quality service to customers which offers timely and appropriate assistance in the use and support of the SIMS schools software. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism offering leadership, direction and best practice to all MIS Consultants within the skill centres to contribute to the development of the MIS Consultants within the local skill centre, ensuring that they are able to deliver high quality services. Maintain an awareness of educational developments including government and LEA initiatives. Investigate, promote and implement services to help achieve the initiatives within LEA's and schools. Essential experience/skills practical use of IT management system. Practical teaching/training experience IT awareness. Detailed awareness of educational issues, and school activities. Broad knowledge of the SIMS modules. Desired experience/skills technical knowledge. Previous management experience. Knowledge of the helpdesk function. Personal attributes: excellent communication skills. Calm disposition. Flexible and enthusiastic. Use of own car and full driving licence. Must be prepared to travel to other customer sites/skill centres.
