IT Applications Manager. Our client, a leading International law firm, require an IT Applications Manager to establish and implement the strategy for the firm. As the IT Applications Manager, your key objectives will be to: establish an applications strategy setting strategic direction for LOB (Line Of Business) applications; prepare annual plans and budgets; develop framework for applications development and purchasing decisions; plan and manage resulting projects and programmes of work; manage the applications team taking responsibility for development of staff. As the IT Applications Manager you will be very customer focused and a strong leader. The successful candidate will come from an applications management background in a professional services environment. Programme management experience would also be an advantage. Knowledge of Client Server architectures, document management systems, Internet/Intranet technologies and sharepoint is advantageous. This is a 12 month fixed term contract initially with the intention of the successful candidate become permanent.
