They are currently looking for a Contract Senior Software Development Engineer for a 6 month contract to help deliver leading edge safety solutions to clients in the critical systems markets. Job role: to deliver leading edge safety solutions to clients in the critical systems markets. To provide sales support to Business Managers in the winning of safety projects. To provide leadership in the development of noval approaches to safety engineering and management that increase the value of my clients services and reduce the waste thet is introduced in their delivery. To provide peer review of other Senior Safety Engineers work. Duties and responsibilities: role will be to support and mentor the Engineering Manager in terms of big project issues and proactivity associated with developing multiple builds in a time pressured environment. You will also provide detailed software engineering advice and support to the DPD Eng in respect top pan-build issues. The role will cover all aspects of the software life cycle, and subject to competency and experience could include any or all of the following: producing software development plans. Writing requirements specifications. Defining Software Architectures. Developing detailed designs. Implementing designs. Producing assurance plans. Developing test environments.
