Oracle DBA - London - is required for our top five law firm. You will be working in the DBA team and you will be jointly responsible for operation and support of the Oracle based systems, as part of this role you will provide DBA support to the Oracle production and solution systems. You may at times be required to participate in technical discussions and meetings as required and provide technical assistance to other support and solution teams. To be successful in your application, you will have excellent technical knowledge in the Oracle DBA arena, particularly in Collaboration Suite (RAC, ASM and Grid Control) and RDBMS technologies and strong experience with Oracle core products, including SQL .NET/NET8 etc, export/import, SQLPlus, cloning etc. Experience and in-depth knowledge of Dataguard with an ASM environment is essential as is a working knowledge Perl, RMAN PL/SQL and SQL Scripting. Exposure to Unix operating systems, ideally Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux and HPUX and clustered systems is also essential. Desirable skills include experience with Oracle Applications R11i (this should cover versions up to and including 11.5.10) and usage of Oracle and E-business suite utilities such as rapidclone, adclone, adadmin, adctrl, opatch, autoconfig, OUI, context editor Should you have any questions or queries, please contact Javad Juma on 02074295413 or send your CV to (see below).
