My client, a leading worldwide service delivery company is recruiting for an experienced, reliable and resourceful Storage Professional. You will be able to work both as part of the leading team as well as on your own. The role encompasses presales, transition and change activities and you will undertake all aspects of delivering business critical services to a wide range of clients. Also, you will be responsible for implementation of new storage into a steady-state. It is favourable that the successful candidates will have one or more of the following backup products; SAN - working knowledge of major components and concepts. Familiarity of one or more of the following major backup products - Legato, Veritas Netbackup or BackupExec, TSM, Arcserve, Omniback. Familiarity with High end/Mid Range storage arrays from one or more leading manufacturers ie HP, Hittachi, Netapp, IBM, LSI, EMC. Familiarity with FC switch technology. Transition - installation, build, deployment, acceptance of new storage/services. Troubleshooting - incident & problem analysis, progression and resolution. Projects - taking the lead and owning technical work packages and procedures - define/improve system management processes.
