Pseries, IBM, AIX, TSM, Virtualization - Lead Technical Consultant/Presales required to act as Technical Lead for leading vendor independent Storage Systems Integrator and major IBM player. My client are a huge success story and are taking the market by storm currently. Looking for a System P/Pseries Technical Lead/Consultant/Specialist to lead, deliver, design and if needed, implement full life cycle IBM projects. Primarily focused on Pseries p570, p575, p590 however skills in AIX TSM HACMP Vmware Brocade SAN DS Series (DS4000, DS6000, DS8000), SAN Storage will be advantageous. As Technical Lead you will be expected to provide pre-sales support to the IBM dedicated Business Unit & Sales team. Manage IBM System P Business Development Plan. Provide product updates and education to the sales and technical teams. Deliver IBM product and value proposition presentations both to customers directly and for use by the sales team to present themselves. Maintain relationships with System P contacts within both IBM and distribution partners. Develop and maintain the Project Datacentre Stack accreditation. Maintain Certified Advanced Technical Expert IBM System P certification. Ensure accreditation to sell IBM System P is maintained by monitoring other staff certifications. Define and create company documentation/procedures for implementation/quality assurance to end user. Implementation & post sales skills when required.
