This is a truly exciting opportunity for an Embedded Software Developer to work in an UK based entrepreneurial company. You will be joining an ambitious & expanding company that leads the way in the International Server appliance market. You will be expected to produce software, create Web interfaces as well as design, integrate, test & package new products. Duties also include providing support to pre/post sales staff on products, develop software systems for Intranet & database applications. The ideal candidate would have a solid working knowledge of Linux & Embedded C, Python as well as Scripting tools such as Perl, Bash as well debugging & fault diagnosis skills. Knowledge of X86 architecture hardware is preferred whilst Perl, Java, PHP, JavaScript, Apache, BIND, Samba are desired. You must have excellent interpersonal skills & have a solid practical experience working with PC hardware & operating systems & programming in Internet technologies.
