Technology Sourcing Manager. Symbian are currently recruiting for a Technology Sourcing Manager to be responsible for sourcing people, services and technology for several technology workstreams to enable the maintenance of Symbian OS. You will be responsible for creating a plan for delivery of a technology stream. This plan will provide the strategic context for Symbian's make or buy decisions, their approach to sourcing and the preferred contractual agreements. You will also be involved in negotiation and collaboration with stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers. Successful candidates must have the following experience; 1) Management of business critical, complex licensing negotiations. 2) Commercial experience in the software industry. 3) Good knowledge of contract law, particularly relating to intellectual property and licensing and other legal issues. 4) Project management.
